LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American pro basketball player playing for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Nicknamed King James he is widely thought to be one of the best players of all time and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player in history. James is the winner of four NBA Championships, the four NBA MVP Awards and four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He also has the distinction of having two Olympic Gold Medals. James scored more points during the playoffs, has had the second most points in his career and ranks seventh among career assists. James has been a part of 18 NBA All Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. There were ten NBA Finals, the most of any player in history. James played eight times in a row from 2011 until the year 2018. In 2021, James was picked to join make the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 he became the first player in NBA history to have accumulated 10,000 or more points over the course of his career as well as assists. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. He received much attention from the media about his potential NBA fame. As a pro-prep player, he was selected by Cleveland Cavaliers with the first second overall selection of 2003's NBA draft. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, the player quickly became one of the best league players, winning the NBA MVP award in 2009 and 2010. James didn't win the title with Cleveland and left the city as an "free agent" in the year 2010. This was revealed by the television show The Decision.
