Shawnee was born in the city of New York, and is an American performer and actress. Shawnee has starred in many horror films, earning the title "scream-queen". In addition, Shawnee is well-known for her part of the Stephen King novel 'The Stand.' She has appeared in several television series, including "Cagney & Lacey Married With Children, Murder, She Wrote,' and Players. She fronted the punk/metal band "Fydolla Ho" in the beginning of 2000, who she performed in throughout the US as well as the UK. She was part of 'Smith & Pyle a desert country-rock group with actress Missi Pyle. Their first album was called It's OK to Be Happy, and was recorded at Joshua Tree. The band was disbanded because of their professional lives and acting gigs. Shawnee has a good command of a variety of musical instruments, including the piano, drums and the guitar. She's also a singer who has performed as an individual on the soundtrack to 'Catacombs.
