Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American actress and singer. Parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. She was raised and born in Huntington Woods Michigan. She has Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen was already a skilled performer from a young age. In 1992, she was awarded her first part in the auditions for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell had an agent appointed by her mother at the age 13 and she was subsequently hired as a model on advertisements on television and newspapers. Now, Bell also begins private acting lessons. Bell made an appearance as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell was a student at Shrine Catholic High School, where she was a member of the both the music and drama club. When her school staged a stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell was then transferred in New York City, to the Tisch School of the Arts. She was a musical theatre student at the Tisch School of the Arts. Bell left the school in 2001 and assumed the role of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang, but the scene where she appeared was cut. As a result, there is only a credit sequence. Bell played part of the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
