Amy Smart is an American former actress and model. Her birthplace and childhood was in California, USA, she started her modelling career in Italy. In 1996, she made her debut as an actress in a TV movie called 'Her Costly Affair.' The actress struggled to secure a role as a star as a character in Starship Troopers, despite having starred in many movies. She struggled with the transition between modelling and acting because models aren't typically considered an actor, so they're typically given small and insignificant parts. However, Amy refused to give up and stepped into bigger roles in the end, beginning with the show 'The 70's' and the film "Varsity Blues". Her next move was to play lead roles in the 2005 romantic comedy film, 'Just Friends', which also starred Ryan Reynolds. It was a huge film at the box office and Amy had finally found the success she'd been searching for for nearly 10 years. Amy then went on to work in several big movies, including"Crank" with Jason Statham, the "Crank" series, which starred Jason Statham, and the show "Shameless," in which she was an adored and a frequent role.
